YouKnow is a digital platform (Website: www.youknow.ps and mobile application) that connects journalists, bloggers, social media users, activists and citizens with duty bearers and decision makers; on individual and institutional levels. Citizens will be able to advocate for accountability by sharing their voice about public issues that concern them, aiming at seeking answers from authorities and decision makers.
This interactive digital platform will be used to advocate for officials’ accountability, lobby for the access of information, and influence political, economic, social and legal concerns in Palestine. And so it will help foster a culture of transparency and accountability in Palestine by promoting freedom of expression, community media and conflict-sensitive journalism practice.
